Applications of the CYCO Hose Reel:

High-Pressure Cleaning of the Forming and Press Sections: The paper machine felts (forming felt and press felt) require continuous high-pressure water jets to maintain their air permeability. The CYCO hose reel, when used with a high-pressure hose, allows operators to easily perform targeted rinsing of areas such as the edges of the felts and the water-extraction boxes, while the automatic retraction of the hose prevents tangling.

Maintenance of Rollers and Scrapers: When removing adhesive residues from the surface of paper rolls or replacing scraper blades, using a hose reel to connect compressed air or water hoses ensures tools are readily available and hoses do not lie on the floor.

Workshop Floor and Equipment Cleaning: Paper mills often have paper lint and pulp drips. Hose reels can be mounted on walls or columns to connect water or cleaning agents, facilitating floor rinsing and equipment surface wiping.

Centralized Lubrication System: For high-temperature, heavy-duty components such as calender rollers and drying cylinder bearings, hose reels can be used to connect grease pumps, enabling long-distance, multi-point lubrication and eliminating fire hazards caused by tangled oil lines.

Air Supply for Pneumatic Tools: In areas with paper cutters and rewinders, using hose reels to connect air hoses for powering pneumatic tools such as balers and air guns reduces hose wear and the risk of tripping.

The core functions of the hose reel are: improving cleaning efficiency, ensuring safety, and extending hose lifespan.

It is primarily used for cleaning paper machine equipment: the wire section, press section, and dryer section.

It allows for quick deployment and retrieval of high-pressure hoses, keeping the workshop tidy, preventing hose tangling and wear, and reducing the time spent on manual hose management.
