Hollow Cone Nozzles

CYCO Hollow Cone Nozzles – produces a distinct ring-shaped spray with no liquid in the center. The design uses a tangential slot or a spiral insert to spin the fluid hard before it exits, throwing droplets outward into a full circle. That hollow center means the impact concentrates around the edges – perfect for scrubbing gases in a tower (spraying into rising flue gas so the droplets catch particles without clogging up the middle), cooling the inside walls of a pipe or drum (aim the ring at the hot surface, not straight through), or dust suppression where you want the mist to hang in the air without soaking everything underneath. Droplets come out fine to medium, so they evaporate or drift further than full cone droplets do. We machine these from brass, 316 stainless steel, PTFE, and silicon carbide – the carbide version handles nasty slurries like lime mud, coal ash, or sand-laden water. Spray angles range from 40° to 160°. Flow rates from a trickle to hundreds of liters per minute.
