Open-Type Mist Fire Protection Nozzle
Open-Type Mist Fire Protection Nozzle is a high-pressure water mist fire suppression nozzle designed for use in open water mist fire protection systems. When pressurized water passes through the nozzle, it produces fine mist droplets that rapidly absorb heat, displace oxygen, and reduce radiant heat to control and suppress fires efficiently. This open-type nozzle has no built-in thermal seal element and relies on an external detection or deluge control system to activate water flow. It is commonly installed downward or horizontally in environments such as warehouses, production floors, shopping centers, hotels, hospitals, theaters, office buildings, and garages that require reliable fire protection coverage.
Design features
Open-Type Mist Fire Protection Nozzle is composed of parts such as the nozzle body, nozzle, nozzle core and filter. After a certain pressure of water enters the nozzle through the nozzle filter, the pressure water is sprayed out from the nozzle hole at high speed, generating strong friction with the surrounding air, and the water flow is torn, thus forming a fine water mist and spraying along a certain angle. The fine water mist sprayed by this high-pressure fine water mist nozzle belongs to Class I fine water mist, Dv0.9≤100μ, with high pressure and good diffusion effect. The residence time of the water mist after spraying is long. Compared with other nozzles, it can reduce the spray intensity of fire extinguishing and fire control, and use less water.
