CYCO Spray Drying Nozzles – made for turning liquid into fine powder, fast. You feed slurry or solution in at high pressure (or use a two-fluid design with compressed air), and the nozzle breaks it into millions of tiny droplets. Those droplets dry instantly inside a hot drying chamber – water evaporates, solids stay behind as powder. The key is uniform droplet size. Too big and the powder won’t dry all the way through. Too small and you get dust or scorching. Our nozzles use a precision swirl chamber and orifice to keep droplet size consistent batch after batch. Common uses: dairy powder (milk, whey, infant formula), instant coffee and tea, ceramic powders, detergents, and pharmaceutical excipients. We make the wear parts from hardened stainless steel or silicon carbide – some slurries are nasty and eat up regular nozzles fast. Spray angles from 40° to 120°.
