Self-Cleaning Fan Nozzle
Self-Cleaning Fan Nozzle is a robust flat fan spray nozzle designed to automatically clear blockages and maintain consistent spray performance. When debris enters the nozzle, internal pressure increases to expand the orifice and discharge foreign matter, then returns to normal spray state once cleared. It produces fan-shaped or linear spray patterns with selectable angles and flow up to ~48 L/min, making it ideal for industrial cleaning, cooling, and surface rinse applications in papermaking, steel processing, water treatment, electronics, and automotive pre-treatment.
Design features
1. When the nozzle of Self-Cleaning Fan Nozzle is blocked by foreign matter, the pressure in the nozzle body will automatically increase, causing the diameter to expand. After the foreign matter is automatically discharged, the nozzle diameter will automatically return to the normal spray state. The nozzle axis is designed to be consistent with the spray axis, which is convenient for the position arrangement of several nozzles
2. When foreign particles block the nozzle orifice, the internal pressure automatically increases, causing the opening to expand slightly and discharge the obstruction. Once cleared, the orifice returns to its original size and resumes normal spraying. This self-cleaning mechanism effectively prevents clogging and ensures continuous, stable operation even when handling liquids containing impurities or suspended solids.
3. Self-Cleaning Fan Nozzle provides both fan-shaped and linear spray patterns, covering a wide flow range from 0.034 L/min to 48 L/min. With multiple spray angles available (up to 130°), it offers flexible adjustment to meet different coverage and impact requirements, making it suitable for both precision cleaning and large-area spraying processes.
4. It maintains reliable performance when handling contaminated liquids, fibers, or particles. It is widely used in industries such as papermaking, steel processing, water treatment, and surface cleaning, where clogging and wear are common challenges, helping reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
